Compared to last week's NIX, it was quite respectable again. In other words: it's enough from 1000m upwards. What more could you want? In the northern sectors it's even quite good, on the southern side you quickly come into contact with the meadow...(Saarland word)...
Snow quality
Not much, but great. Pretty windless, cold, super pow, at least in the middle areas around Muggenbrunn, despite a strong easterly wind. It's a good 15 cm of surfy snow, then comes the crust... Only the steep eastern slope on Dachsrain had a cap. Think mix of sun and wind.
Risks
On the route Muggenbrunn, Dachsrain, Aftersteg and back nada.
Overall impression
So deep snow aesthetics or not. Both descents on 15cm of fast Kanadapow were really fun. Sun, few people on the way. great.
