Below approx. 1000-1100m the snow conditions are rather cosmetic (sometimes higher on the south side), above that it improves almost abruptly and the snow conditions are more than sufficient. Stars refer to this altitude.

Snow quality

2 von 5 Sterne

Between 3 and 10 cm of fresh snow on a layer of hard snow. But it wasn't too bad to ski. Still powdery on the north side, otherwise already damp due to the sun and warmth. At midday at Baldenweger it was already damp but nice and soft. I actually wanted to go back but went back up because it was so nice.

Risks

Relaxed, not enough fresh snow for relevant snowboards. As the layer of fresh snow is not well bonded with the hard snow underneath, some of the sluff comes down quite well when climbing.

Overall impression

3 von 5 Sterne

Beautiful weather, four short, somewhat steeper runs in acceptable snow conditions. After the first run we made a nice friend and enjoyed the rest of the runs and the view of the tracks together.
p.s.: Kite conditions were also very good today.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
