Afterwork Black Forest Tour
Snow condition

Snow condition
In the meantime, the start has to be set at about 1000m to be able to go on tour in the Black Forest. About +20cm of snow on the Rinken, brown patches already visible on the webcam on the Stollenbach and the exposed ridges are bare. The view is very impressive with the snow-covered slopes and green valleys.
Snow quality
The approx. 5 cm of fresh snow on Monday and Tuesday have significantly improved things again.
Risks
The cornices seem to be the main danger at the moment, apparently they are still all up.
Overall impression
Great end to the day with a short tour. Hopefully the next few days will also bring some snow to the Black Forest heights and not just rain, then it would soon be over here with snow sports.
