The upper 5-10cm in Zastler and Baldenweger were very nicely firned up today. Hard in the shade, where no sun reached.
Risks
Wind intensity: Low (< 20 km/h)
Snow cover not yet soaked. Above the Zastler, the snow cover is slowly beginning to move towards the valley, but it still looks good.
Overall impression
Didn't expect to find such good spring conditions in the Black Forest with these temperatures. Currently still climbing and descending as far as the Rinken barrier. Hüttenwasen is free of snow, crossing Zastler, Baldenweger is still barely possible, but very dirty.
