The snow conditions are pretty poor for the end of November. There is just under 30 cm in the summit areas and 15-20 cm below. Basically, this is the remains of the snowfall from 2 weeks ago. The snowfall forecast for the weekend was pretty poor (I'd estimate around 3-5 cm), but at least it temporarily hides the generally poor snow conditions.

Well, the little bit of snow from the weekend seems to have come with a lot of wind (picture), so that a rather unsightly cover has actually formed everywhere on the little bit of fresh snow from the weekend. At least it was cold enough so that you could at least ski quite satisfactorily on the future slopes. The snow cannons were running all day long...

Risks

There is simply not enough snow for avalanches. Nevertheless, the wind could have already caused snowdrifts.

Actually, the overall situation isn't exactly exhilarating, but due to the nice weather we've got the 2nd star. Hopefully the next few weeks will be a bit more productive in terms of snowfall!

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
