The amount of snow is remarkably good for the beginning of December. The current 40-50 cm could provide a good basis for the season. At the moment you can still get through to the surface from time to time.

Snow quality

Dry, well-preserved fresh snow, I didn't have the right slope inclination for dusting today as I hadn't expected such good conditions.

Risks

Apparently little danger. But I also have to mention that I hadn't expected these conditions today and that it was intended as a short exploratory tour. That's why I hadn't planned on more interesting slopes. The last snowfalls took place without any major wind influences (I can't judge free summits yet).

Overall impression

3 von 5 Sterne

What has been achieved so far should be a good basis, and there is little to complain about for the start of the season.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
