The rain destroyed a lot yesterday and the little fresh snow didn't help much due to the strong wind. Definitely a lot worse than last week. Above 1000m it still looks quite acceptable, but the skiing is poor :) You could award two stars here....

Rain on snow, the whole thing briefly cooled, shaken with a lot of wind and served with about 5 cm of fresh snow. The Black Forest on the rocks is finished.

Risks

German described the wind as the master builder of avalanches today. In my case, it was more of a spoilsport, together with its friend the rain - in short: in the Black Forest, I don't think it's critical at the moment. Except perhaps in the well-known places on the Feldberg, but I wasn't there.

Compared to last week, today was unfortunately nothing. Luckily I was able to get a ski pass for two hours and slide around on the slopes a bit.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
