Snow condition

2 von 5 Sterne
5 cm fresh snow

It's just enough, there was already more in December. It only made sense to start at 1000 m. We were able to ski up, but had to unbuckle at the bottom. We need supplies!

Snow quality

2 von 5 Sterne

Still almost powdery at the top on the north side, but already heavy below 1000 m...

Risks

North

Wind intensity: Low (< 20 km/h)

Hardly any snow, hardly any danger of avalanches. Stones and branches covered in snow are much more dangerous...

Overall impression

2 von 5 Sterne
Worse

Just enough for 2 stars because, contrary to expectations, the snow at the top was still quite good. Unfortunately, there is a lack of white snow below 1000 m, and there isn't really much above that either. We are now getting back on our road bikes before we head to the snowiest region in Europe at the moment - the Pyrenees ;)

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
