Extremely good for the Black Forest! At the top of the Feldberg at almost 1500m it's a good 25cm, even more in the hollows! Snow up to the parking lot at 1000m rideable without ground contact. Powdered sugar down to 500m :)

Powder!!!!Fluffy. It was cold and fell without the influence of wind. Really good for the Black Forest! Could just be more to safely take pillows or ride steeper.

Risks

No slide observed. No cracks, no settling noises. Snow is uniformly bonded. There's no problem with old snow. The one from the Santa Claus dump was all gone again at 11°c.

Dreamy, windless 20cm of powder on our tour from the north side of the Feldberg. That's enough for lots of fun and excitement! And a winter wonderland between what felt like thousands of snowshoers and tobogganers. Next week there'll be more, then it should be enough for hopping and a little steeper!
Until then: What are the rules of priority between snowshoes, skis and toboggans? Whoever goes upwind has priority, I think ;)

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!

Thank you for your contribution to the PowderGuide project!
