Snow report Upper Black Forest, 12/27/2014

Better late than never! I didn't find the last 2 days on the mountain as bad as my colleague Rah. Sure, there's still no base, but at least you can ski a bit of powder snow now and the number of people is still limited ...

On Saturday 30-40cm in the best case on meadow today another 20 extra.

Powder somewhat more compact and moist near the ground. Especially today it was set so far that ground contact was rather rare.

Risks

What is there to write about? Homogeneous snow cover on meadow or possibly rock/forest floor. The cornice slopes are most likely well loaded. But I only skied within the ski area.

Certainly clouded by the stoke over the first snow in the Black Forest. I had fun and first lines the last 2 days yesterday but good today. Finally skiing deep snow in the area without much competition :) Now it can go on like this ...

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
