Snow from 1300 onwards, you could even walk from Berisal to the Bortelhorn on a thick blanket of snow. Rocky mountain peaks completely blown away due to high wind speeds.

Windy windy windy as hell! Windy fishing that can be compared to the Nordic Wadden Sea. Vechtes 3m high in ridge locations and not even really sheltered terrain for a spray turn.
Risks
SLF shoots out a 2, we make no further observations throughout the day.
Overall impression
Insight of the day: the wind came from all directions and swept away everything that wasn't nailed down. Sunny, frozen rocks and a romantic fog/sunlight atmosphere on the Simplon Pass, otherwise just a tour for the condi and a descent that would have been more fun on the piste.
