Exposition
Snow condition
The end of the valley is much better, here the wind doesn't seem to have had such a negative influence on the snow conditions.
Snow quality
The powder held up well on the slopes that were not greatly affected by the sun, and even the lower slopes that had been groomed were still great to ski.
Risks
Wind intensity: No Wind (0 km/h)
After yesterday's experience, we took a defensive approach today on what is probably one of the most popular tours in South Tyrol. Thanks to the detailed information from our host about which slopes have been skied after every snowfall, we found a nice, barely tracked downhill option. In addition, we also managed to track another summit with a weak spot in the terrain. It could go on like this... However, new surface frost is already forming again, ready as a weak layer for the next snowfall.
Overall impression
And they still exist - real four stars this winter! Today the weather was great, the scenery was great and above all the snow was great!
