Variations of snow cover

At 2200 a total of another 30cm of fresh snow, probably more above that but also very strong winds, below that less but still more than enough.

Snow quality

3 von 5 Sterne
Powder snow
Wind drifted snow

Like yesterday, not perfect powder, but a bit drier and easier and therefore nicer to ride.

Wind drifted snow

North North-Eas East South-East

Intensity: strong

Above: 2000 m

Risks

Much fresh snow
North West North-West

Wind intensity: Medium (20 – 40 km/h)

Hardly any visibility and therefore no observations of my own, but I heard blasting all morning and the way the wind was blowing at the top, a lot will have been transported. I don't think the upper lifts will open tomorrow.

Overall impression

3 von 5 Sterne
Equal

A similar day to yesterday, but with slightly better weather and even more snow. Days with face shots and straight lines because otherwise you get stuck are simply something special! PS: Unfortunately, the day ended rather abruptly due to a technical defect. The screw head that is supposed to attach the pin holder to the heel unfortunately broke off and the broken part of the screw is still in the boot. If anyone knows this or has any tips, please let me know!

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
