Still top. Only the lower-lying forest lacks some snow for a perfect base.

The obvious variants have all been skied diligently over the week and are no longer really worthwhile at the moment. For good snow and first lines, you'll probably have to walk a bit or head to the western Aosta Valley.

Risks

According to the LLB, it's a 3. The week has been fairly relaxed (no new avalanches near the ski resort since the beginning of the week), but the westerly wind has picked up quite a bit today and is expected to blow quite strongly throughout the night and the next few days. The wind has already 'relocated' some of the still really loose old snow surface this afternoon, especially near the ridge.

Overall impression

2 von 5 Sterne

Not exactly the best conditions for a good day of freeriding today, despite the good weather: variants were ripped up, there were a few queues at the lifts and the wind was picking up.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!

Thank you for your contribution to the PowderGuide project!
