Snow quality
Overall impression
Altitude
1800 - 2400m
Avalanche warning level
considerable (3)
Exposition
Snow condition
50cm on little to no base. The wood creaks in the forest. There seems to have been little to no base. That would be there now for the coming snowfalls.
Snow quality
The higher the fluffier. Deeper and more humid as the day warms up. Moist face shots.
Risks
Wind intensity: Low (< 20 km/h)
The sun came out briefly and you could briefly see the high mountains. Many blasting successes. Observed a self-detonation of a complete bowl, disgusting above the tree line.
Avalanche activity
Dry slab avalanche (medium)
Altitude: 2500 m
Overall impression
Final day in Pila in low conditions. There wasn't much terrain - but there were enough face shots . First picture self-release.
