Snow report Valle D'Aosta, 03/12/2017
Skitouren im Aostatal:traumhafte Frühjahrsverhältnisse
Snow condition
Snow quality
Overall impression
Snow condition
From a certain altitude, from approx. 1600m on the north side and from approx. 2000m on the south side, there is enough snow for ski tours. Steeper forest passages can sometimes be a problem. There are clear differences in the amount of snow between the Monte Rosa region and the Mt. Blanc region, where there is more snow. Overall, however, it's pretty good.
Snow quality
It's spring. Firn and slush, with a supporting base, after a cold night. On the north side, still wind-covered powder at higher altitudes, very unpleasant to ski ...
Risks
Getting more relaxed every day and more and more spring-like.
Overall impression
Not everything works, but quite a lot does.

Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.
Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
