Great snow base from the parking lot to the crest above Lake Erdemolo. A few centimeters of new snow fell overnight. A weak base layer of about 15 cm lies at ground level, composed of unconsolidated crystals. The layers above are well bonded to each other (see photos). ECS test showed better stability than previous weeks. We did not observe any whumpfing, although some spontaneous avalanches were noted (see additional photos).

Overall, the snow conditions were excellent. On the first lap, from the crest facing Lake Erdemolo down to the forest, the snow was powdery - on the heavier side... but still very enjoyable (Sebastian called it “hero snow”). On the second lap toward Stocher (1982 m), the snow was slightly heavier and wetter, likely due to morning cloud cover, but it was still great and super fun to ski.
