Stone Contact avoidable

Sufficient but not plentiful. We went out of a river valley in a north-easterly direction up to 1200, which cost us a lot of material. In the forest at 1750 steep no longer rideable. Short hike...

Hard, pressed snow
Powder snow

Pretty good in sectors W through N to E. Partly powder, pressed powder or wild snow. Slightly compressed here and there. No full-throttle snow.

Risks

No warning signs
North-Eas

Wind intensity: Low (< 20 km/h)

Gliding snow in Diemtigtal not yet an issue. Steep south-facing slopes are slowly thawing out, but nothing is moving. Individual loose snow avalanches. No drift snow.

Overall impression

Equal

Clean traverse with great weather, still good snow. Safe enough to tackle steeper sections. Were on the way up to 44 degrees north. Everything super stable! And somehow powdery. Dream of a touring day.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
