Snow condition

It has been snowing and the whole of Gruyere has been continuously transformed into a winter wonderland since the weekend. Basically, however, there is no base and only on the cow pastures can you ski down to the high valleys at around 1000 meters with almost no shark contact.

Snow quality

4 von 5 Sterne

Of course, it's great as long as it stays nice and cold in the shade on the north side like in Jaun. In general, however, it's already thawing again and the snow is certainly already heavy and partly gone again.

Risks

Nejane, it's just not enough at the bottom, I personally haven't seen it at the top. But a few locals describe wind boards in gullies and hollows above 1600.

Overall impression

3 von 5 Sterne

Yes, an after-work fondue slide is really nice, especially when you get to 3000m (20x150m) of Fristlines in the finest Gruyere Motie-motie-blower :) I don't dare to give it more than 3 stars, because afterwards someone will complain that I gave too many stars for my fun.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
