With the shy fresh snow that has fallen over the last few days, the missing base has now been filled in. But if you're still digging deep or can't jump back and forth cat-like in the blown-in fields, you're bound to catch the odd molehill. In general, the amount of fresh snow is difficult to quantify. In the Zweisimmen valley, it is totally blown away and not even enough for 5cm over the whole area. Towards Schönried, protected from the wind, there is considerably more and you can be surprised by a 30cm field. On the southern slopes of Rellerli, however, it's still below average and the brown stuff is showing up more and more. BTW: Rellerli is closed.

Very good because it's freezing cold. Insofar as it is not blown over, it invites you to make fake spray turns. Some of the old tracks on the sun-drenched slopes are still hard to feel, but still easy to ski. Steep sections of the piste are refined with frozen artificial snow slabs and not the best or most beautiful line down into the valley.

Risks

As the bulletin says, some of the snow packs have been blown together. These can also be clearly seen. I don't know if they can be triggered. Many off-piste specialists took them on and were proud of their lines in the bottomless powder. :(

Beautiful ski day with a very mixed day. It was freezing cold and very stormy in the morning. From lunchtime onwards, it started to clear up more and more and we looked for the little extra turns in between the draw paths to end the day on a successful note.
