Really good. After the Vaud regions were spoiled two weeks ago by the north jam, there is still powder in the parking lot after 3x30cm in the last few days and even Lake Geneva has more than just cosmetics.

The topper of the white pillow is really fine down and airy. The core of the pillow is a little hard in places and the rain crust on steep slopes and the bumps in flat open areas remind skiers that they should stick to good technique. In wind-protected forest areas, it's bottomless and belly-button deep to ski through.

Risks

Yes, after the many incidents in the region in Lower Valais and Vaud, people are alarmed. The safety blasters advised us against the variants and steeper sections. The LLB issued a three above 2000. The ski area is mostly below the rosette mark. We really held back and were busy with mini golf and the ski area's front garden runs. On steeper slopes, the sometimes massive fresh snow pack slid on the rain crust (see photo). And on the exposed NW slopes, the wind packs are already breaking off the lift line.

A real powder day in some incredibly deep snow. But with the lack of visibility, there wasn't much more to it. Nevertheless, it was a day that was put to very good use. You simply blast down the blue as fast as the snow allows and every time you come back down with a big grin under your mask at the liftie who nods at you and hands you the bar for the -first time.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
