Snow condition
All in all, like everywhere else, not a good winter. The 70cm from the beginning of the week and the two 15cm have blown away. But Jever doesn't find powder dreams in the gun positions.
Snow quality
Powder is only useful in windy areas. But then from top to bottom. All blown parts are rather bad.
Wind drifted snow
Intensity: medium
Risks
Wind intensity: High (40 – 60 km/h)
Western exposures and in large hollows critical with danger of falling. have triggered a board after high additional load (fall) in steep terrain hanging under rocks. Crack edge approx. 20cm spread 20m length of the attachment 150m. Massive wind load in the morning, then almost no wind from midday.
Overall impression
Yes, apart from the incident that opened all our eyes again and gave one or two of us a shot in front of the bow and a spanking in the back, the day was very good. With care we were able to cruise comfortably again and we left the steep terrain alone.
