Skitour im Berner Oberland. Besser als erwartet!

Snow condition
You can still ascend from the valley at 1350m above sea level in all exposures. But the snow won't last much longer on the south side. In the valley about 30cm at 2500 m.a.s.l. 40cm.
Snow quality
In the Bernese Oberland, the wind has not raged as much as in other parts of the Alps. So you can still find good powder on the north side and. A light cover has formed on the eastern and western slopes. On the south side, the cover is already stable and we were able to enjoy the first turns in the firn today.
Risks
Apart from a few wet snow slides and ground avalanches from the previous days, we were unable to observe any activity.
Overall impression
We feared the worst on the ascent, but the descent surprised us with a mix of powder on the north side and firn on the south side
