Even if you can drive right up to the parking lot. It's not all white snow anymore. The wind has really blown it all away.

There are soft drift snow patches. As long as it is steep enough, you can ski on it. Otherwise it's a dull, felty carpet with a throwing anchor function. The slabs of ice created by the wind and rain are not great on the descent and even worse on the ascent.

Risks

Not much possible without snow. The SLF Einser confirms this.

Skifoan doesn't always have to be so great because of the act itself, but can also be beautiful because of the adventure, as in our case. First we climbed up to the crux in a great atmosphere, then a bit of scrambling and then we were carried up to the summit in a storm and almost swept off the ridge. But the cell phone had been knocked out much earlier.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!

Thank you for your contribution to the PowderGuide project!
