Snow condition

Everything is melting very quickly. All the slopes with sun won't last much longer. However, good snow conditions on the shady side. In the forests, except in the valley, snowmaking is still possible.

Snow quality

4 von 5 Sterne

Above 1600 very good. Light crust on the sunny side. Very soft and dusty on the shady side, especially north, and changing conditions on the open slopes due to wind and sun. However, very nice skiing.

Risks

The wind-protected slopes are mostly OK. The amount of fresh snow here in the middle of last week was manageable and the snow packs are clearly visible. However, some avalanches have been reported by the locals on wind-affected slopes and hollow-like mountain meadows. On the sunny side, up to 2500 thick FIschmäuler. These avalanches occur spontaneously during the course of the day. Very worrying.

Overall impression

4 von 5 Sterne

A successful day. Great touring conditions with a careful choice of tracks and downhill routes. On the wind-protected northern slopes, you could now think about more ambitious downhill routes.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
