Despite the fresh snow, you could tell that the last two weeks were very warm. South-facing slopes were particularly thin and we discovered a few stones. North-facing slopes were much better, although not great everywhere.

The wind was blowing a bit and the snow was between 15-70cm deep depending on the aspect. But on most slopes there was at least a good 30-40cm. The snow got heavier and heavier during the day, although we had very little sun. In the afternoon below 2,200m it was good spring pow, still good to ski but no longer blower.

Risks

Considering that there was a lot of fresh snow and some wind, we saw relatively few dangerous spots. However, one snow slab was about 70cm deep and about 2-30m wide. But it didn't run very far.

Where it was deep, it was very, very good. Unfortunately, the boards had to get to know hidden stones again and again.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
