Lots of fresh snow in Les Diablerets, bottomless. Flat sections hardly skiable. Steep slopes critical but very rewarding when they are.

the Olon and Gryon area is not very susceptible to wind and only the steep slopes, which can easily slip down to the grassy hub, seem to be really critical. otherwise, snowmen's heads in the bottomless flats are more of a concern
Overall impression
That was a real powder day. With all the celebrations and aches and pains that are part and parcel of the start of the season. Snow crawling freerideopas, lost skis with delivery service, frozen toes and a false alarm that surely prevented something worse due to physical overconfidence. wonderful!
