Unfortunately, it snowed much less on the eastern edge of the Alps before Christmas than in the west. Cosmetic fresh snow yesterday (2cm). In the alpine pasture area at approx. 1400m approx. 40 cm of snow.
Snow quality
Lots of harsch cover, in shady hollows loose old snow on old harsch cover from the first snow in December. New snow (2cm) only cosmetic.

Wind intensity: Low (< 20 km/h)
Overall impression
So far, the heavy snowfalls have avoided the eastern edge of the Alps. Ski tours are only possible with great caution and with good knowledge of the terrain. In the forest area only possible on forest roads.
