Good, but not very good. Descent to Medran on artificial snow. With a lot of willpower also in the forest.
Snow quality
Everything that sees sun up to 2700 is hard at first. Above that, all wind-exposed surfaces are also hard. North-facing shady slopes above 2400 are sugary and poppy soft. Even preserved powder in the forest.
Risks
N 2s. But the gliding snow activity could also be seen at high altitudes in the afternoon. In addition, it trickles from the sunny rocks in small to medium amounts.
Overall impression
Finally tackled some of the first steeper stuff backside again. But the sharks are still biting. It's nice to be able to enjoy the "peace and quiet" until sunset in this great terrain on New Year's Day. Happy new powder year to you all!
