Val d'Herens - Heavy Snaining (regen dann schnee dann regen und schnee)
Snow condition
Snow quality
Overall impression
Snow condition
Enough to dare to go outside. Still not enough to release the handbrake completely. Enough for an off-piste descent with a shark finder
Snow quality
Heavy overall. Slightly easier from 2500. Below 1800 the stuff sticks properly.
Risks
Loud and raucous whining noises above 2000 m. Very tricky! The lifties even closed a slope at the top because it was threatening to break away on the slope. And below 1600, the heavy snow on the meadow slips down quite a bit.
Overall impression
New snow is always nice. If you can even see and feel it without the sleet freezing on your glasses, it's even quite useful.2-3
The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.
Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
