Snow condition
From the 17th to the 18th there was some fresh snow, between 10 cm at 1500m and 30 cm at the top. As a result, some sharks are nastily obscured and you usually ski with the handbrake on. In blown-in, northern expos quite ok. Most routes are rideable. On the south side, you can no longer reach the valley off-piste. The snow conditions on the sunny side have deteriorated over the week.
Snow quality
Over the course of the week, almost every quality of snow was found in the area. I don't need to tell you about the routes close to the slopes that were bombed after one day. That's why I'm referring to the fresh snow that was accessible with short hikes. It fell cold and as it was really cold until Monday (peak -20 degrees), it was very nice to ski. It's still powdery in the shade. On sunny slopes it's sometimes lighter, but even there it's still surprisingly good.
Risks
There were plenty of sliding snow mouths to see. Wet snow avalanches could also be found. Drift snow was also a danger. Only gliding snow was an issue on the extensive routes close to the slopes. The SLF issued a 2 for the whole week
Overall impression
Cool week with sunshine almost all the time. Luckily there was fresh snow, otherwise it would have been a skiing vacation... although there were also some very good ones.
