Snow condition
There's snow all the way down. But in open terrain it's so baked by the sun that it's no longer rideable.
Snow quality
Good to very good at the top. Below 2200 poor to very poor.
Risks
It was very windy in the morning. We couldn't get to the top as the Mt Fort sector was closed. Presumably there is heavy drifting there. The fresh snow is unfortunately falling heavily in the storm.
Overall impression
You can't see anything in good snow and you can't drive in bad snow... could have been good. If it hadn't already been time to go to the top at around 13:30 in the afternoon.
