Snow condition
At altitude, the wind has struck in recent weeks. Blown-off ridges and ridges bear witness to this. Let's see how the fresh snow has spread there, as the wind had a hand in it again this time. Much of the snow in the valley has been rained away.
Snow quality
Got up, looked out of the window, located the snow line at around 1800m and went back to sleep. During the course of the day, the snow line rose even further as predicted.
Risks
The old snow problem is likely to remain with us for a while yet, especially as the thickness of the snow cover fluctuates greatly in small areas due to the wind and we are constantly in transition from a lot of snow to very little snow. In addition, of course, there is new drift snow at altitude as well as wet and sliding snow avalanches further down. It has been better in the past.
Overall impression
After very mediocre skiing on Saturday, there was hope for reasonable conditions on Sunday morning. Unfortunately, things turned out differently. A replacement was quickly found on the couch, while the snow was raining away in front of the front door (~950m).
