Above 2500m there is enough, ridges and crests extremely wind-worked and free. Below that, the forest is rather poor, free choice of tracks in the forest towards Vernamiege is not advisable.

Still fluffy on the north and east sides, and above 2200m without a lid. Below that, an icy lid is somewhat disruptive.
Risks
On the east side, the fresh snow of the last few days does not seem to have a good connection to the old snow cover including rain.
Overall impression
Despite the weekend, not much going on and acceptable conditions.
