It hasn't gotten any better in the last two weeks. Wind-exposed ridges have been blown off and even in more sheltered areas the snow conditions are not great, so you can still catch some stones and wood under the snow.

Snow quality

Tendency towards dust on crust. There were a few really good turns on the shaded side in the forest and in clearings with untracked terrain. Unfortunately, there wasn't too much of it. Overall, too little fresh snow to sufficiently cover the mixed base.

Risks

Due to the wind, a 3 was issued again. The snowpack is still poor and there are old snow traps, especially in the touring terrain. This makes it hard to enjoy the many beautiful lines that are actually available here.

Overall impression

3 von 5 Sterne

Not a top day, but comfortable freeriding with little competition. Now it's time for a good scoop of snow again.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!

Thank you for your contribution to the PowderGuide project!
