There should be no less snow from the start in Mase. The impression is that it could be the end of April. From 2500m upwards, the snow conditions are good, no stone contact. On ridges, the choice of track is predetermined by the lack of snow, or invites you to unbuckle.

Better than expected, but we had only expected crust. From 2500m upwards, you can even find untracked, preserved powdery snow.
Risks
Older outlets were sugared over by the last snowfall this week. Otherwise we have not seen any signs. Rough estimate: Rather stable.
Overall impression
The area around La Maya with the Valon de Rechy is one of the most beautiful parts of Valais! The conditions were acceptable, but not epic.
