Pointe de Vouasson

Overall impression
Snow condition
From La Gouille, the first 500 vertical meters are actually a cramp, the ascent track is just barely usable. After that, good conditions on the ascent. The descent to Evolene goes as far as the parking lot with the exception of a carrying passage shortly before the end. Still sufficient.
Snow quality
Above 3000m it's blown over with a lid, below that it's quickly harsh and very slushy at midday. The temperatures are simply too high for February, reminiscent of May.
Risks
Old wet snow slides are numerous, steep slopes have gone down below 2500m in all exposures. Otherwise no observations.
Overall impression
Great tour, but the conditions are not ideal.

Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.
Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
