Descent to Champex and then to the trunk. The culoirs are well filled and the rock bands can often be traversed without damage.
Snow quality
North side hui and otherwise Pfui. The steep parts are perfectly sugared and soft to grippy. The sugar crystals are clearly visible and you can cruise down the steeps without fear.
Risks
The sunny slopes are not passable, either rock-hard or rotten or have already slipped away. We heard a heavy avalanche but couldn't make out where it started. There are no signs of activity in the shady areas. There it is now favorable to let off steam.
Overall impression
Steep is awesome! The whole thing in powder and with a powdery descent through the forest is very classy. Slowly the energy for the big activities starts to kick in.
