Continuous snow cover up to the old parking garage. Amount is still sufficient.

On the south side of the Rhone valley, everything here is baked by the sun. Ascent tracks are more like slides. We urgently need fresh snow, which is thankfully on its way.
Risks
The bigger problem is the large fish mouths on the south side.
Overall impression
Great view, but that was it. OK for a short tour to gain altitude.
