Snow condition
An unusually large amount of snow, often stony scree fields are nicely closed. Even some of the gullies are no longer recognizable as such.
Snow quality
Soft snow due to mild temperatures, very wet in the afternoon up to 2500m. Precipitation at noon up to 1800m rain, above that wet snow.
Risks
The temperatures are working on the snow cover, but I didn't see a slide in Nax today. On the other side of the valley, the south-facing slopes are marked.
Overall impression
Suboptimal visibility and wet snow. Rain at midday.... is better.
