Still lots of snow in the Sanetsch area. The last two weeks of pure sunshine have also left their mark, but still very good.
Snow quality
Good for a spring tour. Harsh at the start, later light firn. But still ok for the southern exposure.
Risks
Some wet snow slides were visible. Sometimes right down to the bottom. But the risk has been limited so far.
Overall impression
Not a bad alternative when bad weather was approaching. Got as far as the Sanetschpass before the snow started to fall. From there there are still many options (descent through Foret de la Combe, ascent to Arpellistock, ascent to Tsanfleuron glacier.
