Snow condition
The fresh snow of the last few days has been heavily windblown. Below 2300 m it has been raining almost exclusively since Friday. Above 2300 m, gullies and hollows are filling up in the lee, and generally half a meter is still missing for a good foundation
Snow quality
Due to the warm temperatures, the snow quickly becomes slushy, above 2300m it looks a little better, not completely soaked.
Risks
In Ovronnaz, you don't get above 2500m, so we tended to observe wet snow avalanches in the area. Some large-scale avalanches on the south and west sides, some visible down to the ground. The situation remains delicate.
Overall impression
Simply too warm and too windy. Ullr should add something soon...
The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.
Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
