Martigny hasn't had 30-40cm for a long time and the whole of Valais is white. And in the holes in the reservoirs it sometimes gets belly-button deep. Very nice. However, without a carpet pad, one or two material victims or worse have been judged. It's your own fault if you fall so much.

Ice-cold blower at the top. It's been a long time since I've gone down with powder boards. Under 2000 cold, poppy icing sugar. Perfect!

Risks

Difficult. I could not understand the four. However, the fact that tufts of grass so often appear just below the surface means to me that this missing snow has been transported and is certainly very susceptible to interference in these cold conditions. In jams and blown-in slopes there were rumbling noises.

Overall impression

Some injuries and core shots, but certainly an amazing powder day with surprising sunshine and great snow

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
