Snow condition
It was better two years ago and worse last year. One or two stones are still waiting for friends, but yesterday's 30 cm can be cruised right up to the trunk.
Snow quality
Somehow the north/west sector in the forest has taken a bit of a beating and is slightly crusty. West to southwest is great powdery.
Risks
On the eastern and north-eastern slopes it looks very blown in. There are a few small drops above 2000 m. On the south-facing slopes there are a few sliding snow cracks on the meadows that have also made it to the drop.
Overall impression
N dusty 30s in the field and sun between the pillows plus Le Mumba is a full day. The one or other material anchor in the field could have been omitted. But the touring terrain looks very good now that it's settled.
