Valley descent also possible off-piste. But you have to aim well.

Snow quality

Hard as nails on the piste and barely skiable because the artificial snow freezes solid. In the terrain, pretty much everything from damp and rotten to the abrasion of ice slabs. The north wind mills off the terrain and leaves dangerous mines in the steep hollows. Probably soft and dull but better not to ride on!

Risks

Here we have the open weak layer. It feels like crushed harsh snow, but it's coarse, lightly bearing cup sugar. If the next snowfall is not abundant and long, it will be very dangerous up to the open 2500. The current drift snow packs that are ready for release are clearly visible. Therefore just a warning of what may come.

Nice to be back here. The descents feel Argentinian. You try to whizz down on white ribbons between the green moraines. Then it's just as much fun. But the meat and red wine can't keep up.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
