Snow condition
In Kappl, the base above the tree line is quite okay, below it it's not really there for the most part. Be careful though, there are rocks lurking here and there under the powder, although there was surprisingly little rock contact today :D.

Snow quality
It snowed about 20-25cm overnight, so you can usually feel the ground through, especially below 2300m and in places that have been exposed to the sun.
Risks
Wind intensity: Low (< 20 km/h)
Sketchy, especially north-east, east exposure looked dangerous. As the day warmed up, a board formed there from the previously rather unbound snow, but I wouldn't rule out the possibility that it was also partly drift snow, i.e. already bound beforehand. The board then lay on top of the snow cover, on which it slipped due to the slightest additional weight.
Avalanche activity
Dry slab avalanche (small)
Altitude: 2400 m
Several avalanches, exposures over NE - E - SO
Overall impression
It was a good day, the clouds in the morning kept the east-facing slopes fine for the afternoon, everything south-southwest was then baked. About 20-25cm of snow fell, dry and powdery, fine for skiing. Both stones and avalanches are an issue, so it's better to stay away from steeper terrain these days. I suspect that you won't be able to recognize the danger spots as soon as there's snow on top and today you could see how reactive the old snow is. Watch out!
