Snow condition
Still good or above-average, but not enough for more than three stars thanks to the increasing snow cover up to medium altitudes. You can only get down into the valley to Kurzras on the slopes of the closed ski area, which is still pretty good. On the north side there is still a lot of snow, on the glaciers generally a lot of snow, also on the south side.
Snow quality
Good firn, even if not quite perfect at higher altitudes. From tomorrow after clear nights probably perfect. Powder practically impossible to find on the north side due to the high temperatures.
Risks
It rumbles everywhere from midday, no wonder with the summer temperatures! It's better to end tours earlier rather than later.
Overall impression
A very nice descent with still 1400m, you can't complain for mid-May!
