Snow condition
Quite good for the time of year, at the latest after the snowfall of the last few weeks. Lots of snow on the glaciers, then rapidly less outside, so you really have to search.
Snow quality
Due to the fresh snow, the wind and the rather cool temperatures, firn is not really widespread yet, but can be found below 2600 m. Otherwise there is a lot of windblown hard snow, but sometimes also very compact wind-blown soft snow.
Risks
Relatively relaxed, of course you have to pay attention to the daytime warming (which was limited today).
Overall impression
Partly really good firn, nice weather and the snow on the glaciers will last a few more weeks...
