Snow report Warth / Schröcken, 01/16/2016
A brief insight into the Warth region...we drove to Warth this morning. We were very surprised by what awaited us there. Strong winds and poor visibility. Even on the way there we had to stop because visibility was less than 10m.

Snow condition
We didn't see much. But as was to be expected, the meters that have fallen in the last 3 days have had a positive effect. However, the loads should not be underestimated: the crests have been partially eroded and the hollows filled to the top.
Snow quality
We had 10 cm of fresh snow on the piste, which was quite easy to ski. Off-piste, however, most of the places we saw were heavily blown and packed. There was no sign of the fluffy consistency of the last few days.
Risks
The flashing light was on - level 4 - no wonder with the wind and the masses of fresh snow. We didn't see much, but our gut feeling kept us on the piste.
Overall impression
We made two descents and then moved on to the Bregenz Forest. The situation was much more relaxed there and the visibility was better. Maybe it will be better tomorrow, but for today it was a washout. You can certainly have a lot of fun with better visibility.
