The start at almost 1400m is sufficient in itself. However, the lower part of the route has been cleared and now has loose patches and lots of ice. With a little creativity and a little compassion for the equipment, we didn't have to carry anything on the ascent and only 5-10 minutes on the descent, and the ridge to the summit of the Kogelseespitze had too little snow in places to walk with skins.

Up to approx. 1900m broken snow. From there, powder snow on the north side. This with sometimes more, sometimes less cover. Overall, however, always even and nice to ski. Firn on the south side.

Risks

Steep slopes also made a safe impression. In general, there were lots of old snow planks in the area and it will be interesting to see what the rain and wind will do now...

Great weather and usable snow - really good compared to the winter so far

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
